What happened to our government that was designed to be “by the people and for the people?” Instead, we have a government that is for private interests, inside trades, secret deals and the payment to the American people is the lost future of our children, our workers and the middle class. We are moving at the speed of light towards a country where the haves and the have-nots are the only socioeconomic groups left. For the first time in my 57 years, I fear for the future of this country. Everyday the pit we are falling into is growing deeper and deeper and there will soon be no escape. We are now holding the deathwatch for America. I have one question for President Obama, the American public and the “so called” leaders in Washington DC. Who is really using all the money we had. We are populated with musicians of high calibur, their children are 3rd and 4th generation musicians that don't know it. How should criminals be in positions where they are allowed to make decisions about our children and the future of our educators. Why don't we have a contract? We are people who are fighting the oppression, depression, manulipation, and supression of our forefathers among the prejudices of all. Our people die on the streets, our homes and vehicles are broken into (gangs are too present), our parks are so full of chronium, millions must be spent to fix the problems, the water is not clean, it has chronium, the air smells like September 11th. Yet, we work every day in schools that under equipted and ill prepared to help students face the future, "due to budget restraints." These men and women in power need a wake up call, when they allow this corrupt way to exist. It is an embarassment to hear our politicans again in the media. Help Mr. and Mrs. Obama, Heeelllpp!!!!
